２年＋αぶりのライブ決定

１月３０日（日）に渋谷GUILTYにて、２年＋αぶりにライブやります。２００８年８月２３日のLiner以来ですね。その間、なんとメンバー全員が既婚者となりました。エンプティーベッドから改名すべきってことでしょうかねw。それ以外は決してさぼってたわけではありませんでした：HiromasaとJonathanが博士となり、Takujiが社長となり、Gucchiが一人で会社を支えるなみのスーパーマン的存在となりました。充実した２年間の間、メンバー同士ではしょっちゅう遊んでました。

２年ぶりのライブですが。。。もしかしてまた再び長い活動休止となる前のラストライブかもしれません！メンバーが近いうちにそれぞれ世界のあちこちへ修行にでます。最高の最後を飾るために、一夜限り、The Empty Bedが伝説ギタリストマンバ様をゲストに迎え、The Manpty Bedと改名します。この歴史に残るイベントをお見逃しなく！

Premier concert après un break de 2 ans 1/2

The Empty Bed joueront le dimanche 30 janvier notre premier concert après un break de presque deux ans et demi, le groupe s'étant mis en sommeil après le concert au Koenji Club Liner le 23 août 2008. Tous les membres du groupe sont désormais mariés, ce qui peut paraître assez ironique eu égard au nom du groupe... Ils en ont aussi profité pour devenir docteurs (Hiromasa et Jonathan), chef d'entreprise (Takuji), et pièce maitresse de leur entreprise (Gucchi). Deux années chargées, pendant lesquelles ils n'ont pas cessé de se voir.

Premier concert en deux ans et demi, et ... peut-être le dernier avant quelques temps ! Les membres du groupe vont en effet s'éparpiller géographiquement dans les mois prochains. Pour finir en apothéose, ils accueilleront comme special guest à la guitare le mythique Manba-san, et le groupe sera pour l'occasion renommé Manpty Bed. Ne ratez pas l'événement, qui aura lieu dans une des meilleures salles de Tokyo, Shibuya GUILTY, où Nada Surf a joué pour leur premier concert au Japon !

First concert after 2+ years hyatus

The Empty Bed will be playing on Sunday January 30th their first gig after a 2 years hyatus, as the band did not play since their Koenji Club Liner concert on August 23rd, 2008. All band members are now married, which can seem somewhat ironic considering the band's name... Members also took advantage of the long break to become doctors (Hiromasa and Jonathan), entrepreneur (Takuji), and key manager of their firm (Gucchi). Two heavy years, during which they never stopped hanging out together.

First gig in more than 2 years, and ... probably the last before quite some time! Band members are indeed going to scatter all over the world in the next few months. For the grand finale, the band will welcome as guest guitarist the mythical Manba-san, and become The Manpty Bed for the occasion. Don't miss this historical event, which will take place in one of the best live houses of Tokyo, Shibuya GUILTY, where Nada Surf played their first gig in Japan!

We'll be playing on August 23rd at Shin-Kôenji Club Liner, and unfortunately it will most probably be our last show until 2009. Jon (Vo./Gt.) is fighting to get his PhD thesis done and we decided to let him focus on that for the next few months.

But this next show is going to be awesome! The bands we'll be playing with are just amazing, and we are especially happy to share the stage with the fantastic Dabada Q!! It's an honor to be with all these great bands.

８月２３日（土）に新高円寺クラブライナーでライブやります！３ヵ月ぶりのライブでわくわくしますが、残念ながらもしかしたらこのライブが今年の最後のライブになるかもしれません。２００９年の年明けまではジョナトン（Vo./Gt.）が卒業論文に集中して、卒業ができるまでは表の活動を休止します。ちょっとWeezerっぽいな。

今年の最後のライブかもしれないからこそ、すごく豪華なイベントを用意いたしました！対バンははんぱないですよ！！しかも今回はなんと大好きのDabada Qとの初対バンです！お見逃しなく！

Nous jouerons le 23 août prochain au Shin-Kôenji Club Liner, et cela sera hélas sans doute notre dernier concert avant début 2009 : nous avons décidé de laisser Jonathan (Vo./Gt.) se concentrer sur la rédaction de sa thèse.

Mais ce dernier concert de l'année va être énorme ! Les groupes avec qui nous aurons l'honneur de partager la scène sont parmi la crème de la scène tokyoïte. Parmi eux, nous aurons l'immense plaisir d'accueillir les fantastiques Dabada Q, avec qui nous jouerons pour la première fois.
